I just got a new puppy and was wonderin' if my older dog will hurt/kill him?

The puppy is about 2 months old and my older dog is about 6-7 yrs. I spend about the same amount of time with both but I can tell my older dog is very jealous. Also, my older dog is usually tied up unless I let him inside which I do about every day till he wants to go back out. So far the pup was keeping his distance from my dog, but he kept gettin' just a bit braver and more curious. So finally today he was too brave and my dog had the pup on it's back standing over him and had the pup yelpin' like crazy. I think my dog was just tryin' to show dominance/ teach the pup manners/etc. because the pup wasn't hurt, only scared. Once the pup was away from my dog he was all happy again so I'm guessin' that was probably it? Also, we had just moved, so could my dog be upset over that too? Any advice or reassurance is greatly appreciated : )
